Marriage is one of the most significant events in a person's life, and predicting its exact timing is a specialty of Krishnamurti Paddhati (KP) Astrology. Unlike traditional Vedic astrology, KP uses sublords and ruling planets to pinpoint events to the day.
In KP Astrology, the 7th house represents marriage and partnerships. The primary indicator for marriage is the 7th Cusp Sublord. For a marriage to take place, the 7th Cusp Sublord must signify houses 2, 7, and 11.
Even if the 7th sublord promises marriage, the event will only happen when the operating Dasha, Bhukti, and Anthara (DBA) lords are strong significators of houses 2, 7, and 11. If the DBA lords signify 1, 6, or 10, marriage may be delayed or denied.
Once the DBA period is narrowed down, Ruling Planets (RP) are used to pinpoint the exact date. The ruling planets at the time of the chart reading or query will guide the astrologer to the precise day the marriage will occur.
