KP Astrology Matchmaking: Beyond Ashtakoota

Traditional Vedic matchmaking relies heavily on the 36-point Ashtakoota system based on the Moon's Nakshatra. However, this often fails to predict the actual longevity and happiness of a marriage.

The KP Approach to Synastry

In KP, we don't just count points. We analyze the promises in both individual charts first:

1. Does the boy's chart promise a long, happy married life (2, 7, 11)? Or does it promise separation (1, 6, 10)?
2. Does the girl's chart promise harmony?
3. Are their current Dasha periods aligned for a collaborative life?

Only if both charts individually promise a good marriage should the match be approved.
