What happens when the Star Lord promises but the Sub-Lord denies?
In KP Astrology, the golden rule is: The sub-lord is the final decider. If the star lord signifies favorable houses (e.g., 2, 7, 11 for marriage) but the sub-lord signifies detrimental houses (1, 6, 10), the event is ultimately denied or ends in failure, regardless of the strong initial promise.
- Star Lord (Nakshatra Lord): Shows the nature of the result, the source, and the initial effort or promise.
- Sub-Lord: Decides the final execution, success or failure, and ultimate quality of the event.
This is the most critical rule in Krishnamurti Paddhati.
How to resolve star lord vs sub-lord conflicts
- List the significators of the planet (source).
- List the significators of its Star Lord (the promise).
- List the significators of its Sub-Lord (the final outcome).
- If the Sub-Lord signifies negation houses (e.g., 12th to the desired house), predict denial.
